" I Can See Clearly Now "

I had a vision in my head of a tropical feeling courtyard area out back. Today the vision came to life in part as my wonderful husband began the work of turning my vision into a dream come true!



Yesterday we had a sweet smelling rain shower and a rainbow.............

I love rainbows.....

And then some gorgeous clouds for me to gaze at...

I just can't get enough of gazing....

And then the moon appeared...........

Growing larger....

I don't know if it was official but it was full...........

And later after dark, it was awesome!

This is a shot of the Mystery Plant. I think it is gorgeous but has stopped blooming at the moment.

I dealt with a little Okra today...........

I got a gallon bag of sliced and a few small whole pods for the freezer....

Watermelon anyone?

Part of the posts for the Chicken Coop were set this morning...but not where we first planned to put them.....It will be on the south side behind Hubby's shop.

Ahwwwwww my fat boy Patch is 6 weeks today!

They got new digs today! They like it better than the box as they can see what's going on!

These are some sweet babies!! They also got food for the first time today!

What a sweet face!

Outside play time is sooooo much fun!!

The Courtyard will also serve as a play yard for all the Peek gang!

Yesterday was a really good day!Except that E-Blogger
has some major problems and it's hard to access my
blog and some others, posts are not updating ect. UGH !





Whatever caused my week long depression has gone!
I have received wonderful comments and e-mails with
some really helpful information. I thank all of you so much!






Several have expressed that I was the last person
they would expect to get depressed. Normally I am
a very positive person. I have had depression in the
past but I could point to a cause or at least what I
believed to be the cause. For example, my Mother's
death, my daughter's marriage to an abuser. However
there was no apparent cause for this episode. I went to
bed fine and awoke in a state of pure misery as though
someone has drugged me in my sleep! I do think there
is an underlying medical reason behind it. I am going to
talk to my doctor about doing a Thyroid check because
I've gained thirty pounds in 18 months but don't eat any
different than I've always ate. Maybe do a hormone check
also. I'm not going to push it aside because it was bad!





Back to a good day yesterday! I did a lot of house
cleaning and backed up laundry! YUK! It felt good
to be motivated if only to work. I walked around the
yard looking at the gardens and flowers. Saw beauty
and bounty everywhere! Picked Squash and Bell Peppers.






My Asparagus Fern on the screen porch is blooming!

I also took a walk in the woods out front and saw

this growing in the wet weather stream.............

I have know idea what it is except that I'm sure

it is a wildflower and it really is pretty............

I also saw this Crawdad Hole.................

This Gardenia is showing out!!

It is behind my St. Francis garden which is coming along

The Oleander outside "the porch" window is putting

on a show and the Hummingbirds love it!!

I told you yesterday I was changing out my bed linens.

This is the old and even though I've only had it on there

about a year, I wanted a different look for a spell......

be hot.....Hubby sets the Air at 66 at night .................

I'd freeze without this cover..........

They did not have the pillow shams to match the

Quilt but I'll keep looking.............
