" Fall Passes Away"

Hubby and I went to visit my friend Pat yesterday and came home with a new addition! Meet Miss Kitty! The mother cat and one of her two kittens disappeared when the kittens were two weeks old. Pat bottle fed this one till it could eat on its own. She is a Calico Manx. She has NO tail ! She is 8 weeks old.The dogs were all excited to see her but she DID NOT take to them !!
She was ready to take them all on!!

So for now she stays in "my porch " room..................

Yesterday we had a dusting of Snow! Not the 1-2 inches predicted but enough to excite my southern heart............

Put me in a real Christmas mood..........

I know you Northerners laugh at us Southerners for getting so excited over Snow.........

We'll laugh at you around late March when we plant our garden and you are still shoveling the white stuff.......... :)

I always think of Ballerinas when I see the branches bending gracefully under the weight of snow

I spent the day decorating for Christmas.........

Digging through box after box of decorations..........

Then of course we watched the football game between Alabama & Florida! Congrats to Alabama on an awesome win!

Today I will decorate some more and of course watch my TITANS try to give the COLTS their
first loss of the season!! This morning we had 26 degrees and heavy frost so I'd say Fall has passed away in South Mississippi.................

We did have some beautiful colors in November. I was so busy I didn't get around to posting the pics! So browse through them and I see you at the end...........

HAVE A GREAT SUNDAY EVERYONE !! GO TITANS !!!!!!!

Your fall pictures were spectacular but it must be hard to remember those scenes, now that you've got SNOW. Enjoy it while you can since you know it won't be there long!

What a pretty kitty! She and the dogs will probably get along just fine, in time.

Love that kitty! Your fall is stupendous; glad you saved and posted those pictures.

The weather station talked on and on about the unusual cold spell hitting through the south, dumping snow and closing roads and schools.

Yes---Go Titans for sure... And I'm thrilled that Bama won last night.... My son's Texas team almost got beat by Nebraska... Talk about 'heart attack'... ha ha

Love your November colors and of course, your snow. I love the way it clings to everything--especially to the evergreens. I did a snow post today also.

It was 19 degrees when we got up... Brrrr... AND--we STILL have plenty of snow around...

Have a great day and help our Titans to win. Okay????
Hugs,
Betsy

Yeah Bama! I am still in shock. It has been a long dry spell of having no wins over them Gators. I still have a lot of respect for them, but oh, so proud of our boys!!
Hope the Titans win today.
Congrats on your newest member of the family. What a cutie pie.
The fall photos are so colorful and fabulous.

I used to have a cat like that. those are my favorite kind. We also had ones with 6 toes. I woke up to 6 degress and a lite dusting of snow. My husband is from California and after we were married and moved to Washington any time there was snow he would be up allnight waiting and watching and getting excited but not now that we have spent 9 winters in Minnesota. Voting here for the Titans and Seahawks today!

Miss Kitty is adorable! I think that she feels outnumbered by the dogs, but she will probably put them in their place, one by one. Your fall pics are just gorgeous! We still have a lot of fall foliage and green grass, and only got a light dusting of snow, here. Have a great week!

Your new kitty is very pretty. In my life as a cat owner I have had 5manx cats and there is nothing like them. I think they are kind of dog like in their personality. That's my opinion. Have a great time with her. You will never be sorry you took her in.

Love your new kitty. Being a Manx, kind of keep an eye out for the rectal prolapse.
I was so sorry your Titans did not beat the Colts. As a Dolphin fan, we are so very protective of our "72 perfect season" that we root for the undefeateds to fall.

Your snow reminds me of the kind we usually got in central TX. I understand the same storm that dumped on TX made it through LA, MS, AL, AND GA turning north somewhere after that.

Well my football weekend was mixed. TX went to the national championship with AL literally by the skin of 1 second. I also watched AL who I deem will win the shootout, based on their play. Further if a quarterback wins the Heisman, it should be the AL guy, not Tebow or McCoy.

Cowboys lost, Miami won, and I was pulling for Vince-he played well but Manning is a master of the last drive. And I was pulling for Atlanta and Minnesota. So Sunday was a mix. However I won't have ulcers.

Oh, I just want to eat her up! Hopefully the dogs don't, though. ;)

Is there any place it did not snow in the USA lately?
Looks beautiful, though! :-)

Lovely snow pictures! I'm jealous! We got none of the white stuff. Of course, they said it was a fleeting chance, but still, one can hope!

You asked if you could use my "Be Still" photograph on your blog: by all means, please do! I'd be delighted and honored to have you use it :)

Miss Kitty is adorable! I sometimes wish we'd adopted Master Colby when he was a kitten. Such cute little balls of fluff!

Happy Monday!

Miss Kitty is a very cute kitten. I'm sure she will be happy on the porch. You are ahead of me. I was supposed to go through Christmas boxes this weekend but the snow got in the way. Lovely photo!

Ya, bite my tongue. I rubbed it in just a little because we were going to south Texas where the high is rarely under 80. Well, we got there and the temp fell and we had highs in the 40's. I packed for warm weather and my beach bag never saw the light of day!!!

God bless and have a wonderful day!!!
