HOPE- THE REAL MEANING
I went to Lady Katherine's blog and found the whole story of her battle. Please read the post Lady Katherine below and come back to this link below the figurine and read what the word Hope really means!
I read her story, Carol, and was glad to hear that she has had SIX years since the dreaded cancer came into her life. I hope that my friend Susan has six years. SCARY stuff!!!!
So often the people in the headlines are the unhappy "rich and famous." The battles and victories of the "real" people we seldon hear about are the stories that are inspiring.
She seems like an amazing lady. I love the way she accepted that she wouldn't be exactly the same (like the figurine, but could treasure her days with new meaning.
Such an inspiring story about Hope. Though that lovely figurine has broken, it is so heartwarming that her spirit and her "hope" have not. She and her wonderful husband's love story is beautiful. I have known women whose husbands could not take the strain of caring for a cancer ridden loved one. Some shamefully leave but many more like hers, hang in to be steadfast and rock solid support. Those men need more recognition than they get for they also have a hard journey and show great courage. Both of them are in my prayers. Thank you for the link.
Carol, It's so good to hear your voice...Looking forward to meet...What a great post to share about Lady Katherine...she is an inspirational to all of us...Have a great day..Kathy

I can't imagine what she has been through, but her attitude is so inspirational!
I feel lucky my cancer was so detectable and found and treated early.
Carol, because you have listened between the lines to one person's story, you have reached one.
You have reached one and like the pebble in the pond, this is now reaching many!
I do love what is happening here!
This is God stuff!
