Congratulations to you three!
And Carol, these Spring blooms are a warm blessing to my eyes! My daffodils are barely peeking out of the earth.
Forsythia's were one of the flower bouguets we always got when living in Holland to celebrate spring - they are so cheerful. Thanks for posting these - brings back pleasant memories.
Strange times, some are having an early spring, some are still under snow, comatose but preparing for a late blaze.
I am so sorry I missed you giveaway :(
I can't wait for spring...your photos are beautiful and I am jealous =)
It definitely looks like an early spring there. Great photographs.
"Congratulations to the winners," she said grudgingly. Of course, the best part is that I can buy the book and I loved the interview. Thank you for sharing it with us.
Barb.....I know what you mean but it's 39 outside now !
Your welcome Jeannette!
Dave....we are expecting a low of 29 later this week so I'm thinking,
these photos show what appears to be a cruel teaser!
Katherine.....I'm sorry you missed it too girl!
Carolyn....so sorry, but you CAN get them all at your local bookstore and you are close enough to go see him LIVE ! I'm so jealous!
Oh Carol, I have never won anything in my life - truly! I am soooo thrilled, thank you. Hugs to you, bonny lass. (A first.. Shrinky, speechless.)
Oh, what a lovely surprise, Carol! Thank you. I will email you my addy, and my choice is the signed copy of "Mason Jars in the Flood" I can't wait to read it!
We've had signs of spring as well, but are back to colder weather again. Bummer! But I love your pictures.
Have a great day!
Hugs,
Renie
That's indeed an early spring! Our forsythia flowers in April and so the other trees and flowers. The only thing I have are the snowdrops.Wonderful to see spring in your garden! Thanks for sharing.
Hi Carol,
When I was growing up we had hedges of forsythia and they were always the first sign of spring. At night when we pulled the car into the driveway and the headlights shown on the branches the yellow was almost electric. I'm ready!!! Thanks for the glimpse.
Catherine
Thanks for the photos, Carol. I am watching big, fluffy snowflakes fall... again.
Carol, what lovely photos of the season transformation. We all love daffodils but I especially remember the yellow forsythia calling spring into my heart and step! I have a little acknowledgment for you at Oasis in Puerto Rico. I hope you come by soon to pick it up. <3
I thought I was looking at England for a moment. Lovely! The Magnolia is my FAVORITE tree!
How awesome! Thanks for sharing!
Blessings to you and your family……
Hello! I discovered you over at Willow Manor. I grew up spending my summer afternoons not far from you, at the Meridian Public Library. Now I must go read your blog....
I love your photos and the captions are delightful!
Congratulations to the winners. I look forward to your next contest, Carol.
