Here's a view from the kitchen doorway...............

From the foyer looking toward the FD's that go into the dogroom............

Standing in front of the new EC. The Fireplace is on the wall where the sofa was...........

Another shot from the foyer....

Now I'll let you browse the awesome Sunset we had yesterday! Some shots were taken with a flash and some without.............

This morning we have heavy fog.........

HAVE A GREAT DAY EVERYONE ANd Thank You For All the B'DAY wishes to Melanie, She loved it!! :)

Beautiful sunset and absolutely splendid job on your project. Still cannot believe that it was all accomplished in just one week. I think you need to start your own business!!!

Great finished project and great sunset photos! I need to hire you to come help me recover my sofa and chaise lounge; the fabric's been sitting in my closet for over two months.

Congrats on your buy at ebay.

Well done! Perfect for your TV. Can't wait to see your GWTW plates on the top.

Love the foggy fog.

Oh My Goodness, Carol.. That is FABULOUS. The entire room looks better. Like where you put the little fireplace also. I'm so happy for you all. You are BOTH just too darn talented...

The sunset was smiling at you for all of your hard work...
Hugs,

Carol the shelf project turned out wonderful! It looks like it has always been there. Congratulations on winning the ebay auction! Isn't that fun? I bid on a stack of old Victoria Magazines once and got them. I did a little dance, thought I was the most spectacular thing in the universe :)

LOVE it. Please come to my house. :)
I think I have that first GWTW plate of Scarlett surrounded by her suitors. I didn't do so well on collecting the rest, though!

Love the entertainment center! It looks great. Beautiful shots of the sunset, too!

I wonder do you ever run out of perfect sunsets?

The handiwork is wonderful. With 4 kids under my feet I marvel at such feats of accomplishment.

Hi Carol!

That is a wonderful entertainment center! The new big flat screens are making a lot of people have to come up with a new solution for display and I like yours very much!

I collected plates like that in the 70'sand early 80's, only mine are primarily of Norman Rockwell paintings. I still love them and display them on plate racks in my dining room.

Your sunrises and sunset photos are always spectacular!

You know I envy you, right? Enjoy that bookcase. It's a great change.

Absolutely fabulous! I wonder what you have up your sleeve next? Or do you ever just kick back and veg out? Naw, that's not likely to happen! ;-]

Carol_ I think it is so hard to have a flat screen tv blend in a room, but you accomplished it! Looks great! I loved your tribute to your daughter. You know Miss Melanie did say "the happiest days are when babies come". :)She looks like a daughter any mother would be proud of--all except that TN vols stuff :) Oh yes, you can send me your Clark Gable plate if it won't fit up there :)

What a great job that hubby did on the EC! And those plates are absolutely gorgeous!! Lovely sunset, too!

It really turned out great. Everything looks so nice and those plates are to die for, LUCKY YOU.

Renie Burghardt said...

Wow, Carol, looking good! And I love the sunset shots. Most of my hundred some acres are woods, so I don't get a good sunset. Too many trees. The small 4 acre field is to the east, so I do get some nice sun rises, especially in the winter, when the trees, beyong the field, are leafless.

Loved all the pictures!

Hugs,

Scarlett will find pleasure in that top spot, I'm sure.

You and hubby should look almost deformed with your chests so deservedly stuck out. WONDERFUL JOB you two. Such a difference!!!

Ah--tell me again what the "sun" is? Does it come out at night or in the day time. It has been sooo long since I have seen it. Thanks for the reminder photos.

Great remodel transformation for a room! And love the sunsets. It's rained here so much my memory is not retaining what a sunset is.
