" Nap Time "

First let me appolize for the bad quality of these pictures, I took them through the glass of the windows that look from the kitchen into the Sunroom which is now the Dogroom. Doesn't Duke look cute perched on the doggie steps?

A lazy rainy Sunday afternoon presents a perfect setting for doggie Nap Time. Hubby and I were watching football! It starts out with Duke on the steps, Sadie and Patch on the rug in front of door leading to screen porch. Roxie was in front of doors leading to LR. Jake had gotten in the cage which I couldn't get from the kitchen windows.

Patch decides to join Roxie................

Duke then decides to join Roxie and Patch..........

A little while later, all are in doggie dream heaven............. :) Patch has his arm across Roxie !

If you click to enlarge you will see a fat little Hummer perched on a limb. This also was taken through glass and screen....

These are this weeks arrivals from Amazon. I also WON a signed copy of " Whistlin' Dixie In A Nor'Easter " from The Novel Girls blog last week so that means a giveaway soon !!!!!!!

It's another Blue Monday as we have a 90% chance of heavy rain!! :(

Have A Great week everyone !!

Your dogs are so cute. I don't think they could get more comfortable if they tried. We've had pretty dreary weather here, too.

Your dogs are just the sweetest things. They sleep like... like cats! :)

Good day for a nap -- it's raining here too and our dogs are sprawled everywhere.

It's overcast and cold here, (we aren't used to this kind of weather), and I was just smiling at how the dogs like to sleep next to each other in this kind of weather. Then I opened your post and now I'm laughing. A universal dog truth, chilly? Cosy up to the closest furry creature, problem solved!

Your life is gone to the dogs, literally. Well, not totally. You still have poultry to keep you sane, or not. What happens when you are all stuck indoors for hours?

If we would only love others the way your pups do, and they haven't even known each other that long. A little sniff and a little acceptance.

It looks like everyone is accepting Roxie, even being nice to her. It always takes a while in our house before the original dogs will *snuggle* with the new puppy!

Love the photos!

Oh, such sweet doggie photographs. An entire room to themselves and they cuddle up together in one spot.

It's raining here at the beach as well. Bummer

Such cute pics of the gang! That is so sweet that they let Roxie sleep with them. Glad it's all working out. Great package from Amazon, too.

Hi Carol, Except for yesterday, we've had nothing but rain here also. AND--we are headed to Tullulah Gorge on Wed--and they are saying there's a 100% chance of HEAVY rain. Guess we'll put on our ponchos and check out the waterfalls anyhow....

Your babies are so cute cuddling together.
Hugs,
Betsy
P.S. Vince played a little--but he can't 'fix' what is wrong with the Titans this year.

Carol, you sweet puppies are so adorable. What a soft bundle of cuddley cuteness. Writers at Home seems like a great book. I'll look for it! Love to see your blog so active and alive with warmth. Glad you are doing well. Thank you for your wonderful presence on my blog; I just love to read your comments!xx

What comfort our animals are to us, esepcially in their innocent sleep, almost like children.

Raining here as I type. Sure don't remember moving to Seattle. Must have happened when I was napping.
Love how your dogs have totally accepted the new kid on the block.
We could all learn from their grace.

I so agree with Deb Shucka that dogs really know how to nap. Just returned from a driving trip to Atlanta and watched my Lexi (toy poodle) nap the entire time, going and coming. I was very envious.

Carol,
Your dogs are so cute. We had a rainy day yesterday, too. Today is bright and sunny and the leaves are beautiful. I loved your photos and this posting.
