" Under The Weather"

I have tried to make the rounds and do some commenting before I go back to bed. I have encountered a problem posting a comment on some blogs, so far it has been GUMBO WRITER,
DIRT PRINCESS and JOURNALING WOMAN and VICKI LANE..............So if you are having a problem, you are not alone !! :(

It started Wednesday with constant sneezing, then with I just don't feel good. Yesterday I just kept feeling worse and started having a stuffed nose and body aches. Today for the first time in I don't even remember, I am running a low grade fever and must admit, I'm sick! So I'll be missing till I get enough C & E vitamins in me to run whatever this is off! Have a great weekend everyone! :)

Time to curl up with a box of tissues to hand, mugs of tea, some good books. You're a hard-working lady and need some time out!

Hot tea with lemon, honey, and a slosh of rum is my remedy. You still feel bad but you don't mind so much . . . and then you fall asleep!

Get well soon!

Sambucol! It's an elderberry extract syrup and, elderberry in a tisine, was what our Appalachian grands used to prescribe in the spring. It builds the immune system when taken as a juice concentrate and works to rid the body of illness when taken as a Sambucol syrup.
Praying you'll soon be back to good health.

Hope you feel better soon!!! Luck was with me and i did not catch the virus...but...the suicide on the mountain Sunday night and the aftermath on Monday had me depressed for a few days....with the question of why??

Oh, no you poor thing. My weekend was last feeling poorly. I hope I didn't give it to you, well mine wasn't actually sneezing or stuffy nose. And I really couldn't give you a virus over the internet... except for a computer one. Help me NO.

Praying for your quick recovery.

Hope you feel better real soon. Hope you don't have the flu. Chicken soup is the feel good soup. Chicken soup will cure most anything.

Take care of yourself, Carol.

I agree with Vicki. But if you're feeling feverish change the tea and rum to OJ and vodka. It works the same way.

Seriously, with all the flu going around you want to get better soon and get your resistance back to normal. Rest and read.

I am so sorry you are feeling so puny. Don't like the fever, that kind of takes it out of being a cold and puts it into the flu catagory. Please be careful and take care.
You might need Tamiflu. Be well soon.

My friend's son was sick this week with a fever , sneezing and coughing , the Dr. said it was most likely the flu , but they didn't test for swine flu. Bedrest , plenty of fluids and chicken soup with plenty of garlic added , the old ways are still the best medicine for flu. Hope you're feeling well soon!

I hope you're not too sick to read! Maybe this is the book fairy's way of getting your attention. :)

Take care. Stay home--don't take any chances of being exposed to anything else while your resistance is down. That includes garage sales.

C and E not going to do you no good, baby. No solid evidence of that whatsoever. Listen to your granny. You need rest and all that. You need to go the doc and get Tamiflu.

So sorry your sick and I so hope and pray it's not the flu (swine or otherwise). Had a great day at the Southern Belles Luncheon and missed getting to meet you. Hope you get to feeling better soon!

Sorry to hear about your cold/flu, and missing that special luncheon. Loved your photos. I too enjoy the misty fog; I get quite a bit more than most people.
