Solving The Problem................ THANKS TO THOSE WHO FIXED IT !!!

The problem appears to widespread according to E-blogger help. Many of you have expressed to me that you are having the same problem. After checking each blog, I noticed that everyone of the blogs listed above have embedded comment setting.
If you'd like to change it and don't know how, here is what you do...............

Go to your blogger dashboard. Next to New Post, Edit Post You will see Settings.
Click on this then click Comments. I believe it is the 3rd box that gives you 3 choices, FULL PAGE, POP UP or EMBEDDED. Choose either one of the first 2.

I'm probably not the only one who can't comment on your blog and some think it is because a lot of us had to upgrade IE recently.

Done, I hope, I think. I want to accomodate and please.

Hmmmmmmm - wonder if such is why I haven't received comments lately or just no one's reading my blog. Thanks for taking the time and doing the research and sharing.

Hi Carol, noticed you were from Nashville, home of Country music. Wow! The grand ole 'opry....yeeehaaaa!
I grew up with Country and Western music as well oldies.
My wife is nuts over Willie Nelson and his 'Georgia' song.
Me...? Patsy Cline, Johnny Cash, Slim Whitman, Hank Williams, Mac Davis, Duane Eddy just to name a few.
You stay easy and keep a song in your heart...
best regards, Lee.
ps, re you not able to get into some blogs, could be the blog has hiccups. Or their place has connection blues.

Who knew? I sure didn't! I'll see what I can do to fix this - but it may have to wait until post-vacay. We're supposed to leave in a few hours and I'm still not packed. Ack!

Thanks again for explaining the sitch! ;)

I am not on the list, but I have been having problems leaving comments. Your solution is useful for filing away, thanks.

Thanks. This is happening to me too. I want to leave comments and am unable. Google should get their act together, why offer a feature that disables bloggers from getting comments. You've done a great service, here.

Bummer, thanks for the heads up on that problem.

I had that same problem in the beginning and finally discovered that "full page" solved the problem.
Nice of you to help out.

Thank goodness I'm not on the list. You came and left your sweet comment this morning. Thank you, Carol!

I am also having the same problems on many blogs. The embedded ones give me the most trouble, and I end up just giving up in frustration. Hopefully, it will all be worked out.

Have a great evening!

I just did what you said....
Gads, how do you know what you're talking about? I'm lucky I can do my blog at all. It's a miracle.
Thanks, Carol.

Great idea, Carol.... I hope this helps. I probably need to go through all of my blogs and find out who has their comments set up embedded also... I don't know why Blogger uses that setting as their DEFAULT....

I use Firefox ---and love it. You may want to download it (free) --and use it instead of IE. I think it is much better. But--I have a Mac and don't care for anything that is made by or for Microsoft. Oh Well.

Sounds like your 'people' are willing to change.. Hope that helps.

As you know I had same problem with my own blog. Arkansas Patti helped me correct mine. She had experienced it befoe me and changing out embeded vs separate page soled the problem for her and for me.

Thank you for the information, Carol. I made the change back to pop up. Strange how the setting got changed. I remember setting it to pop up when I was making the original settings. I made a little post on my blog about this and linked back to your post. Hope all is well with the commenting now. Thank you again! Smiles, Callie
