" September's A Winner "

Ahhhhhh September, my favorite month! It lifts my spirits to know you're here! The Virgo is perhaps the most controversial of all the signs. Both of my Grandmothers and my Mother were Virgos. I am a Virgo! Two of my best friends are Virgos, one of my DIL's is a Virgo! Virgo women are a force to be reckoned with! Perfectionists, critical (mostly to themselves) creative, serious , intelligent, passionate, loyal and often reclusive. Do you know any Virgo women and does this fit them?

Sadie spent the night at the Vets, she's having spay surgery this morning! She has been the best little Mommy to Patch-a-Poo and Duke-a-Bear but her birthing days are over! Jake and the Fat boys will go later this month for their turn.

My dear friend Jo @ A Brit In Tn gave me this Bloody Brilliant Blog Award and I Bloody Love It! I'm passing it on! I think a writer who achieves their way to publishing is Brilliant so I'm going to pass it to some author friends who have blogs!

Vicki Lane @ Vicki Lane Mysteries

Denis Lipman @ England Rents, Rants and Raves

Kathryn Magendie @ Tender Graces/Virginia Kate Sagas

Angie Ledbetter @ Gumbo Writer AND

Elizabeth Spann Craig @ Mystery Writing Is Murder

You are all Brilliant and deserve this award! Pass It On!

And the winner of Elizabeth's book is Ros @ Ros The Quilter !! There were 32 comments and Hubby picked # 27 ! Congrats Ros and send me your snail mail address!

HAVE A GREAT WEEK EVERYONE !!!!!

My husband and I are both Virgos...but he is just barely. Today is his birthday. He doesn't act like Virgos...but Leos. I am a true Virgo through and through! :0)

Oh and September is my favorite month as well. Who could not LOVE Autumn?!

My favorite month is the one I'm in and my favorite day is today -grin-. Seriously, I love 'em all but, like you, enjoy Autumn most of all, followed by Winter, Spring and then Summer.
But. That will probably change so don't hold me to it -grin-.

I love murder mysteries! I look forward to the book, I just finished one of the "Reacher" books so I am ready for a new read!
Thanks so much, I got lucky!

My mom is a virgo...fits her to a "T".

I love the picture of Sadie....such a sweet little face!

Thanks so much, Carol!

Hmmm -- no Virgos in my immediate family -- but one good friend who is -- and is Virgo-like in his attention to detail.

However, though my sun sign is Pisces, my moon sign is Virgo and I have Virgo rising. For what it's worth.

I have one good friend in Texas who is a Virgo... I'm a LEO and they say I'm generous, warmhearted, creative (not me) and enthusiastic, broad-minded, faithful and loving. On the 'dark side' Leo's are bossy, interfering, patronizing and intolerant. Oh Well--it was good 'til I got to the 'dark side'... ha ha

Hugs,
Betsy

I love fall, too. Today is a beautiful day and I've been spending it in the kitchen making spaghetti sauce and concord grape pies. I am very happy to see September.

The two dogs who I've been closest to were/are Virgos! Both female. Female Virgos Rock!

I love your Sadie and puppies photo. It melted my heart. I hope that the spay goes smoothly.

Congratulations on your award, you so deserve it !
I'm looking forward to Fall, it renews my spirit, especially when I start decorating with the pumpkins and decorations.
It's lovely to see the fat boys once again, how is mum doing after her surgery ?

No Virgos that I know of, but September has got to be one of my favorite months. Cooling down, garden is slowing down, bright star-y nights ... I could go on and on.

I think it's harder on us then our beloved pups when they have to go to the vet, but they seem to bounce back so quickly, it's amazing.

Congrats on your award! I'm loving September too. Such a great month for garden renovations, house projects, long lazy summer drives in the country exploring new roads. Ohhh, just love it.

I found your blog thru Brenda Kay Ledford's. It's just lovely. I am a Virgo and the description fits!!! I absolutely love Autumn and look forward to the time from now til Thanksgiving especially. Your dogs are precious. We have a mini dachshund who was retired from a breeder after four litters. We love her dearly too.

Just a Pisces here. Funny because I love water around me - rivers mostly here, but can't swim.

Today was a beautiful first day of September here in MO. I hope the beautiful weather was a promise of what's to come. Missouri is kind of temperamental.

Prodigal Wife is a Virgo, and so is Mummy-in-Law--need I say more? Other than Happy Birthday, of course!
Congratulations on another well-deserved award--and thank you so much for passing it along to us! It really means a lot.

Congrats on you award and am looking forward to checking out your awardees sites.
Got to say that in Sadies picture, you can see in her eyes that she KNOWS this is her last litter. Such a sweet face.
Hope she is home soon.
Glad your Gnome book found a good home.

Well, hot diggity dang! Did you know I'm a Virgo too??

Thanks for the bloomin' bloody good award. Gumbo Writer blog will wear it proudly! :)

Not the gnomes again!

My grandma's birthday is September 14, and she always wanted to make sure she did the right thing - and that we all did, too, or we would know what to expect as a consequence of not doing it. She would have been 81 this month - we are getting a cake to devour in her honor . . . I am sure she laughs when we do this; and is pleased when I head for the treadmill afterwards.

congrats! Your Sadie looks a bit down. I suggest pain killers for this surgery from the vet. I wish I would have done that for my dog. I did for my cat, after seeing the dog!

Oh yes, I do. I know myself, and I'm a Virgo too! And we Virgos are the best.
Lovely blog you've got!

Well, I'm a Virgo and the description suits me I think. Maybe it's also why September is my favorite month :-) I hope Sadie's spay surgery went well and congratulations on your award!
