I'll never forget, don't you worry. Good reminder for all of us to appreciate the relative peace of this day - and to remember that we're still fighting a war over what happened on this date years ago.
Thanks for your best wishes.....i've added to my earlier post....i wasn't going to post about 9/11..it's still painful....but...i needed to write the short story...
It is a day, similar to JFK assassination, you remember exactly what you were doing the moment you heard the news.
I find it hard to judge the country's reaction of that event because the enemy was a different kind of enemy. It seemed to me the entire country was groping for answers and reactions.
For a short time bickering, smearing, and political division ceased, but it did not last. How sad!
This will always be a difficult day for Americans; the day we realized that we are as vulnerable as other countries to acts of terrorism. I choose to consider all the acts of heroic bravery that occurred on this fateful day. Instead of weakening our great country, I believe it made us stronger. God Bless all the men, women and children who were lost and the family, friends and strangers who were left behind.
We shall always remember that horrible day in our Nations history. On that morning I was preparing to dress for work as I watched the Today show when the broadcast was interrupted and showed the second plane heading into the towers. Very scary time for all of us in America. Thanks for posting this tribute.
It is burned into my memory. My heart goes out to the families of the victims, those who did survive, and for the workers who are still suffering with illness contracted by helping. It is a terrible scar on our history.
We should never forget. I love the photo. We were sitting at the kitchen table when my husband called from work and told us to turn the TV on. It was unbelievable!

With our struggle and our sadness, we have gotten stronger over that terrible time.
God Bless American hearts. God wipe our tears. God store our tears and heal our sorrow. We stand again and again, because we can.
Sorry to say, the tragic moment will always be etched in our minds and hearts.
My heart still goes out the the many family's who began a normal day lost lives and loved ones. Only God can bind the wounds of that horrific day.

This photo is the perfect tribute to those who lost their lives and those whoes lives were forever changed by 9/11.
How CAN we forget....never.
AMEN! And in these troubled times, never forget *any* of the horrors that have gone on before lest we repeat them due to arrogance and ignorance.
Tragedy, big losses, but also many heroes live among us! This is one of my favorite pics!
