" Many Thanks from Golden Eyes "

Yes, It's me! I wanted to say Hello to all my blog friends and Thank All of You for your wonderful comments on my last post. You guys are an incredible group of people! I'm doing good emotionally even though I feel a great loss in having to distance myself from someone I cared deeply about. I don't think this person even feels remorseful for the hurt they caused and that to me is the worst part...........life goes on however and keeping busy helps.

My son and DIL flew into Biloxi last Thursday and we drove down and hung out with them at the beautiful Beau Rivage........We don't gamble but we enjoyed the great shops and fabulous food there.....

My DIL took this shot of me and my son Todd with his phone camera. I thought I had brown eyes but it turns out I'm golden eyes ! HA!

Here I am with my gorgeous DIL Lori..............I needed this escape and they are a joy to be around!!

So I end this post with a request that you scroll down to the next post and see how I've been keeping busy!! XOXO

So happy that you got to have some fun with your dear son and DIL. Beau Rivage is a fabulous place. Great pics, and that doggie photo reminds me of a litter of NINE that my Black Lab had once!

Maybe you should have gambled with those golden eyes. Your room looks fabulous. Your guests are very fortunate. Glad you are back. I have not posted in a while, I have my mother visiting now. She sleeps in my computer room.

What a busy lady you have been! The room should please any one with a flair for southern plantation life. When can I come over?

Great pictures of you with your son and DIL, Carol... Glad to see you smiling... Not matter what the other problem was, it is not worth fretting over any longer.

Glad you are doing better. Missed you though.
Hugs,

I'm so glad you're feeling better, Carol. I'm sure your 'GWTW' will keep you busy. What a great idea. You have just the right touch for it. Love the emerald green. Put a little gold in there to match your 'golden' eyes!

Carol, sometime ago I unaware made a comment (in anger) in an e-mail to my bestfriend. It was not gossip;fully understood the entire contents and had no problem with it. However her husband read her email and for unknown reasons thought my comments were directed at him. It has caused much consternation but not damaged my friendship which does not include the husband to any great extent. But I learned to not write in anger; also to carefully reread my emails through the eye of others, not the intended recipient reading them.

ANd I certainly am remorseful. Words once slipped from the lips can never be retrieved.

I know write e-mails as carefully as blogs to never hurt anyone. My blogs about meeting my husband and the circuituous route to the alter, which I am laboriously working on, is a case in point

Am glad you have had a loved ones to help salve your wounded spirit.

Well, he doesn't have your golden eyes but one can really see that he is yours. Such a handsome fellow with a lovely wife.
Glad you had fun, that is the best medicine for "bouncing back".

So glad you're keeping your mind and body busy, just remember you can't control or change others, you can only change how you react and perceive.

I'm so sorry that you had to go through that, Carol. I cannot stand people who rejoice in spreading misery and lies. I've had a recent episode too. No fun! Glad to hear you're doing better, and that you got to spend time with your son and daughter in law. Blessings!

Hey! I'm so glad you're doing better. It's never easy to seperate yourself from people you care about. Unfortunately sometimes it's for the best (for your sanity if nothing else). I'm glad you enjoyed your time with your son and daughter in law!
