" YES HE DID " Steve McNair Jr.

Steve McNair Jr, an All-Star Wide Receiver for the Oak Grove Warriors in Hattiesburg, Mississippi and son of the late- great MVP Tennessee Titans QB Steve McNair Sr. signed with The University of Southern Mississippi yesterday !! We were hoping for this and look forward to following and supporting this awesome young man! I guess this means we are in the market for a couple of season tickets at The Rock!

I'm in awe at your enthusiasm for football. And look at the double quotes up there. ""Yes!!""

I'm totally clueless about football but if you're happy, I'm happy too. Thanks so much for your visit to my blog. :)

So glad you all were able to keep him at home. Hate it when they get shipped across country.
Play safely and well young Steve.

Wonderful, we have another football 2nd generation to follow, besides the Mannings.

I've often wonder what it is like to be the sibling of a parent considered a star in whatever, especially if they choose not to follow their parents....

I'm glad he is in a different position!!!

Congratulations! I wish you a lot of great times watching him. American football is almost unknown in my country. We have football which you call soccer.
Carol, I like your badge which reads "An award free, tag free blog"! I am copying it from you and using it instead of the long explanation why I am happy NOT to receive awards.( too time consuming)

Way to go! Funny, I would've never picked you out as a football fan. But, thanks to you, I know a tiny bit about who's who in football. I can at least pretend at parties and other social settings!!!!

Good luck getting those tix!

Hi Carol!

I don't follow football very closely, although I know several NFL players and a few coaches. Sounds like you are very excited to have this young man on your team. I do remember you writing about his Dad. Hooray for your team!
My hiatus from blogging wasn't a long one. I really missed all of the people, like you, who had become friends over the last year. Blogging is an odd phenomenon. It just doesn't seem right to 'pull the plug' so to speak. I'm trying to organize my time better, and I've been doing a pretty good job of it, except that now the pain in my back is shortening my reading and commenting time. It's always something.
I'll be happy to fly over with a piece of my strudel. I've always wanted to visit Mississippi.
